After many years of working in the medical field I decided I wanted to have a more central role in the healing process. Although massage is beneficial, in that it’s relaxing and pleasant for the client, it also has a profound, beneficial physiological effect on the mind and body that many people aren’t aware of. The amazing benefits that massage has in not only helping to relax the body but, in its capacity to physically and mentally heal the body, continue to fascinate me.
I have completed 1350 hours of education from National Holistic Institute in Santa Ana, California. This education includes Western and Eastern Modalities as well as Advanced Neuromuscular Therapy. I am am proud to carry the title of Certified Neuromuscular Therapist and Health Educator.
Each new client receives a consultation to determine their specific requirements. During this time we will discuss your issue and determine a course of action that is most beneficial to you, the client. Whether this plan is for a relaxing massage to promote a general sense of well-being and melt away the stress of the day or, to address a specific condition/injury in which a series of sessions might be required, the goal is to determine what is the best course of action in order to help YOU. Remedial treatments allow me to help my clients reduce their pain, increase their mobility and range of motion, so that they are able to maintain or return to their active lifestyle.
